Simone Alexandra

Simone Alexandra Ærsøe is a visual artist working mainly with photography and spatial installations.

She is interested in the complexities of nature and society and their influence on the individual. Her work often begins with a more or less abstract idea of a connection which is then tested through photography, research and experimenting with a variety of materials.

Simone Ærsøe is one of the founders of Land404. Her work has appeared at the censored spring exhibition at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen and she has participated in group exhibitions at venues including Format photography festival in Derby, Neue Galerie im Höhmanhaus, Augsburg, Powerstation Gallery in London and the group show “What should have remained secret, has come to light” at Galleri Format in Malmö.
